The function
Active Coating is a coating that is equipped with the latest photocatalyst technology in order to reduce fine- & ultrafine dust, viruses and bacteria from the ambient air.
How it works
- ACTIVE COATING is applied to the surfaces.
- Light attracts organic substances to the coated surface.
- Light causes the photocatalyst particle to release oxygen atoms and oxygen molecules from the air, which then react with the organic substances in their vicinity and in this way oxidize them e.g. Decompose CO2 and H2O (“cold combustion”). The entire process is called photocatalysis. GX2 is not an active ingredient, but a catalyst. This has the advantage that it does not evaporate after time.
